Cookies
What are cookies?
Cookies are text files that your internet browser stores locally on your computer. Cookies help websites to deliver functionality that might require some memory of your actions. For example, an online shop would probably use cookies to remember the contents of your basket so that you don't lose all of your shopping if you close the page without checking out.
Many websites require cookies for the core functionality of the website. However, this one doesn’t. So, if you want to, you can turn cookies off by changing the privacy settings of your browser.
How we use cookies
Our shop uses a feature called "local storage", which functions in the same way as cookies do, to store your basket information and to store relevant unique identifiers from PayPal during your checkout. In addition to this, we use cookies to keep you logged in if you have a customer account, and some of your user details are stored within local storage. Sensitive information such as your password will never be stored locally.
We use Google Analytics on this website. Google Analytics sets a cookie that identifies unique visitors to our website. We use Google Analytics to keep track of how many users are accessing our website, and to see which pages they browse through. Analytics help us to understand our audience so that we can deliver a better service to everyone.
